welcome to the world of pokémon
Mystery Dungeon World (MDW) is a completely fan made project based on and inspired by the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series. This is not a game or a romhack but a series of entries and fanart detailing different rescue teams, events and how the rescue teams actually work on a worldwide scale. Depending on my ideas and how big this actually becomes I’ll start a side blog or dA group or whatever
For example art of bounty boards, rescue teams in action, towns, shops, evolution ponds, dungeons and other things you see will be designed to make a series of cool stuff to look at.
This will kick off properly in about a month or two! If you’re interested in working under the Mystery Dungeon Project or just want to know more shoot me a message!
|Hey, sorry to bother you, I just happened to find this by randomly surfing the internet. I had just one question I hope you may answer: I really enjoyed explorers of the sky, but I heard a lot of criticisms about gates to infinity. Should I buy it? I'm not interested in "having all 28951299128 pokemon" and things like that, nor the lack of some starters, what I care most about is the storyline. I loved the old PMDs, how is the storyline of gates of infinity compared to older ones? Thanks!|
Thanks for your question, I can’t really help you here though. I have yet to play Gates thoroughly. In fact, I pulled out my copy of Gates the other day, brushed off the dust and realized I had only played a total of 1 hour and 28 minutes of it…
Personally, based upon what I did play, I wasn’t so impressed story wise. Granted, I wasn’t really into the game as a whole when I did play.

off to the world of pokémon!
Should I change the theme?
|why does ign hate mystery dungeon? okay, i'm a pokemon fan so when i play it's a lot easier to immerse myself in the story but I feel like this game has a lot to do with imagination and how much you care about the characters, so the reviewers probably just saw it as long talking -- but to me, all that talking is the fun part.|
I would guess that IGN doesn’t appreciate the kid-friendly side of the PMD games. The story, yes, is immerse and creative, but also does have it’s childish moments, that kind of set off the mood a little. Additionally, I assume IGN was expecting another main Pokemon series type game, with all of the battle sequences and such. In PMD games a majority of the dungeons go by very quickly, especially if you don’t take the time to train and go on missions. Understandably, the game can seem like it is filled with many chat sequences.
What happens when I tell a story…
